Dear Owners,

We regret to inform you that over the past weekend, the basement lift call button was deliberately smashed. This follows previous incidents of malicious damage to the lift, including deep scratches to the mirror and stainless-steel panels.

We do not believe these to be accidents – they are willful acts of vandalism. Repairs are costly and affect the financial health of the building, and ultimately all owners.

We must remind everyone that owners are responsible for the conduct of their tenants and visitors. The trustees and building management continue to invest effort in monitoring and deterring such behavior, but we cannot do this alone.

We ask for your cooperation in:

– Reminding your tenants of appropriate behaviour in shared spaces;
– Reporting any suspicious activity immediately;
– Supporting any future security measures that may be proposed.
