This morning the garage door was unable to close for some time. There was an issue with one of the sensors. This problem has been resolved. We have reviewed security camera footage to confirm no unauthorised individuals had entered the premises. We will continue to monitor the garage door.

The trustees are working to implement a new access control system that will include an intercom at the main entrance that can both be controlled by mobile phone (by calling an owner, only SA phone numbers) and by mobile app (over internet). This system will also include new access control panels that no longer require physical tokens. Once the negotiations with suppliers have completed, we will inform you of the migration planning.

The maintenance team has been experimenting with durable replacement materials for the atrium handrails. We have found a suitable solution that we will implement over the next 2 months. This new solution will be as maintenance free as possible and will last easily another 10 years.

Next week the maintenance team will start cleaning and priming the beach-facing facade of the building. The steel beams and railings will be made rust-free and coated in pink primer. As soon as the painting of the atrium interior has completed, the facade will receive its final coat of paint.
